 Hotel Certosa Di Maggiano is located in the countryside, 2 km from Siena´s famous Piazza del Campo. Built in 1314 as a monastery, it is a comfortable hotel since 1978.

Il Canto Restaurant (Michelin starred) takes its name from one of the centuries-old farms belonging to the Certosa, which still today produces olive oil and fresh products. All dishes are based on these local ingredients.
Breakfast is served in an historic kitchen, decorated in a rustic style with age-old tree branches, and outdoors under the adjoining pergola.
During summer, restaurant service is available at the porch near the pool, for those who wish to dine casually. Dinner, depending upon the season, is either served in the small, exquisite dining room, or under the arches of the central cloister. A wide selection of Italian specialities are offered according to the season, and you will also find a careful selection of Italian wines, particularly Tuscan red wines.
